"Watts Up" with Watts Up Yarn Company?

I hope everyone has started their new year off with a BANG!
There's not much really to talk about that's new around here other than I just added the new aran/heavy worsted weight base to the shop! There's not much there now but keep a look out as I dye, so you don't miss out! I am not sure how long I will be keeping this base in stock but it's AMAZING! In the meantime, I want to thank all who love Watts Up Yarn Co. and who continue to watch me in my journey! It's not easy sometimes, since I do it all myself. But I know I'm not the only one who does it all alone with kids and a household to run at the same time. Since I am on the topic, there's one important bit of information I would like all you to know who order from me:
Some shops dye a whole bunch of yarn and do "updates" which is a very effective and logical way to do things -- for them. However, for me and my lifestyle, I do things a little different. I will break it down into numbers:
1) When you visit my webstore, very rarely will anything be OUT OF STOCK. If, for whatever reason you order, and it turns out the colorway is not available, it's most likely because the yarn itself is not available or it is a mistake.
2) Unless it is specifically specified within the item description, the yarn is not ready to ship. So it could be in stock, but it may mean I still need to dye it. IN STOCK most of the time means the yarn/base is in stock and can be dyed. A lot of times, though, it will be dyed already anyway. Just be advised that nothing is ever guaranteed to be READY-TO-SHIP unless I make it very clear in the description.
3) If a specific base is OUT OF STOCK but it's still on the website, it will most of the time indicate that. In the past, there has been accidents where I forgot to add that in but I do my best to make everyone aware that the base is out of stock and on order. If the base is being discontinued but I have some overstock of that base, it will be listed as discontinued and show the amount that is left. After the discontinued product is gone, it will be removed from the webstore. There have also been times when certain products that were discontinued were still listed. If this happens, I will always contact you right away to fix the issue whichever way you see fit.
And that's really all I can think of! On the rare occasion, like a holiday or maybe just life happens and I have a huge amount of orders, my product fulfillment time may increase. I will always do my best to communicate with you if it's going to take longer than expected for whatever reason. I choose to run my webstore this way because for me, I don't want to wait for a store to update before I can pick a product! I always want to give the opportunity to you all to get what you want when you see it!
